Standing at the tip of the East Pier in Dún Laoghaire Harbour, County Dublin, this granite lighthouse was built in 1847 to a design by chief engineer George Halpin and has guided ships in and out of the harbor ever since, its light later boosted in 1892 to reach the Muglins rocks off Dalkey.
